DO
Use a moisture masque in place of conditioner twice a week. Curls love moisture!
Only comb your hair in the shower with a wide tooth comb while your conditioner is still in
Part it and rinse
Towel scrunch your hair to dry
Use a serum through the mid shaft to ends
Use a curl cream if you have super curly hair and a light mousse designed for waves if you have wavy hair
Towel scrunch and twist sections away from your face as it's drying
Add more serum in the ends to polish
DON'T
Wrap your hair up in your towel- it will disrupt your curl pattern
Comb your hair after you get out of the shower
Vigorously dry your hair with a towel- it will frizz!
Use a gel or a crunchy mousse
